Until the Next Christmas​

A Short Film on how my mother celebrated Christmas in her childhood during the 1980's in India ,in a small city called Hubli in the state Karnataka .She seems to really enjoy the whole preparation for the 12 days of Christmas and regularly marks out her calendar for each event that passes by. From white washing the house , to getting new Christmas clothes stitched to preparing the traditional indian sweets like rose cookies and some plum cake , she enjoys all of this ! Until on the very Christmas day she realises its all over and it would take a whole year to experience this Joy and excitement of Christmas again Christmas is celebrated differently in different parts of the world. And the Christmas festival celebrated in India is no less special. With unique customs and traditions and many savour and sweet dishes prepared to start off the holiday and new year season.Since not many people know how India celebrates Christmas I decided to make my Classroom Project on this very topic .
